Remarks: This is my 714thChinese Xieyi Painting and my 1219th painting since 2003and My 517th assignment and 108th painting in the study of the second phase as a candidate for Master of Fine Arts of Chinese National Academy of Arts.
With the question why as if a pure Chinese ink painting has more charms more than a colored painting? I lied on the bed to read and stood by the wall to paint, because the ache on one of my legs made me tremble in case I sit on a normal chair and the ache on my low back made me difficult to stand up when I sit on a low chair for example a sofa... anyway, after finishing read the Mountain and Water Painting History in Tang Dynasty, I have also completed the little painting... To be honest, I have gotten so much inspiration from the reading more than I paint itself, so that I felt a little bit shame for more than 10 professors from China Central Academy of Fine Arts and Chinese National Academy of Arts have taught us the Chinese Mountain and Water Painting/ Landscape Painting History since 2009, but today when I read a professional book, still there are so many new and fresh things in it ... Really, I should not just paid more attention to study the techniques, ignored the history and theory studying...
So, I would really like to catch the postpone for one year to make up missed lessons...
Also, I had a new idea, after I finish the Chinese Mountain and Water /Landscape History, I would read the History on Chinese Figure Painting and History on Chinese Flower and Bird Painting. Hehe.
How do you think of this painting? Do you enjoy it?
