This is the 4th time I painted a picture to match the same poem and the music I created for the poem since 2007. The last time I painted the painting on the Chinese New Year in my travel in Wuxi.
I do hope that you enjoy this painting and it will be some help with you to learn more about Chinese culture and language.
Main Meaning of the Poem
A Little Pool
By Yang Wangli (Song Dynasty)
The silent mouth of a spring 鈥渃herishes鈥� the thin streamlet,
The shadow of the trees is reflected in the water, it 鈥渓oves鈥� the scene in the sunshine.
A little lotus leaf just appears with a sharp tip,
Quickly, a dragonfly lands on it.
