Remarks: This is my 356th Chinese Xieyi Painting and my 659th painting since 2003, the 32nd assignment in Chinese National Academy of Arts.
I love pines and red-crowned cranes not only because the Humanistic Spirit that they have been given by Chinese in our own culture, but also, I love the appearance of the pines -- tall, straight and evergreen, and I enjoy the feature of the red-crowned cranes -- white, graceful and elegant, just like a fairy in the fairyland or a beautiful girl in the human world, therefore, I have painted many red-crowned cranes and since I came to Chinese National Academy of Arts, I have painted 7 paintings that match both of them together.
When I worked on this painting, I did enjoy the feeling to express the ideas in my heart, so, even though I felt so tried since I had stood by the easel for over 15 hours, I could not help smiling to myself when I finished it at about 3:00am. :-)
How do you think of this painting? Do you like it?
