Remarks: This is my 628th painting since 2003and the 32nd Chinese Gongbi Painting, also it is the first assignment that I have completed in Chinese National Academy of Arts as a graduate student.
This is one of the Song Dynasty Gongbi Paintings. I am learning how to imitate the Chinese ancient artists to complete a Chinese Gongbi Painting.
Song Dynasty Gongbi Painting is the highest peak of Chinese Gongbing Painting, every student who is major in Chinese Painting must learn it. So, I did by the good directions of my tutors in CNAA.
I worked on it for 5 days, from reading and studying the painting, making a frame, painting a Chinese Baimiao, coloring it until to use water of Puer Tea to color the background.
This morning, my tutor Mr. Lu Wenqing commented it and pointed some problems on it, mainly on the color using and how to painting with calligraphy style. I have written down it into my note book and I will try to pay attention to correct the problems and improve my calligraphy level in my second painting.
How do you think of this painting? Do you enjoy it?
