This is my 51st Combined Paintingthat I created for Chinese Classical Poetry, andmy 627th painting since 2003.Also, it is my 14th painting after I left from China Central Academy of Fine Arts July 12, 2011.
The past 4 weeks is quite hard for me. I did a lot of jobs while fought with the sickness that has come to me much more since July 23, 2011.
During the time, I felt a strong sympathetic chord when I read this poem below, so that I could not help painting a picture to match it, to express my emotion, to encourage myself to work on my art dream while to fight with the sickness.
Anyway, I drafted it on Sep 1; I just had time to complete it Sep 18.
I do hope that you will enjoy it and bring you a big smile.
MAIN MEANING OF THE PEOM :
The Bamboos on the Rocks
by Zheng Xie (Qing)
Cling to the green mountain, never give up, The bamboos take their roots in the cracks of the rocks Though they go suffer, they are still strong, Hold unyielding, no matter the winds blow from where.
