This is my 51st Combined Paintingthat I created for Chinese Classical Poetry, andmy 626th painting since 2003.Also, it is my 13rd painting after I left from China Central Academy of Fine Arts July 12, 2011.
One year ago, in August, 2010, I created the painting below to match the Chinese classical poem Zao Mei -- the Plum Blossom in the Early Spring by a poet of Tang Dynasty (618 - 907) Zhang Wei, to express the meaning of the poem.
During I was in CAFA, I showed my painting and my combined art dream to my professors and tutors. I was encouraged and be directed how to improve my art level. Therefore, since I came back Shenzhen 50 days ago, I have been studying how to paint and to express the meaning of Chinese poetry with the more Chinese style.
So, this week, I have painted a new painting to match the poem and I have also re-translated poem, re-wrote the music and the comments, also, I have re-sang it in Chinese and in English.
You can hit the links over to listen to my singings, to enter the Chinese Language column, and to read the comments and follow me to read the Chinese Characters...
I do hope that my effort will be some help with you to know more about Chinese culture and to learn Chinese language. MAIN MEANING OF THE PEOM :
Flowers cover a plum blossom tree as a white jade in the cold, It's by a bridge far away from the village. Don’t know the flowers blossom early by the water, Doubt it's the snow in the winter has not melted yet.
