Remarks:
This is my 18th Portrait painting, the 312nd Chinese Xieyi Painting and my 580the painting since 2003. Also, the 62nd assignment of China Central Academy of Fine Art.
This week, we continued to learn the Chinese Xieyi portrait painting from professor Li Yang. Except painting from the model -- the true people, I painted this painting by learning from Mr. Ren Bonian.
I was lucky enough to get the patient answers about Chinese portrait painting's history and the basic develop clue of this field. Therefore, except buying the art books of Mr. Jiang Zhaohe, Mr. Huang Zhou, but also, I have bought the Complete Works of Mr. Ren Bonian and Mr. Chen Lao Lian.
Even though I would like to focus my time and energy on bird and flower, I would also like to learn how to paint landscape and portrait, to build a reasonable knowledge construction.
