Remarks:
This is my 506th Painting since 2003 and my 33rd Chinese Bai Mao.
I had been worrying whether my eyes would be able to recover to paint a Chinese Gongbi, since it has been very difficult for me to read, write and paint.
So, that day, when I did not see clear on the computer once more in the Art Gallery of Missouri State University, 4 of my professors -- Dr. Park, Dr. Kent, Dr. Harmers and the other professor whom I did not know went to see me. Suddenly saw so many professors and heard they ask me how I was doing, tears could not help flowing out of my eyes... just like a little student who had lost the ability to learn, a bird who had broken her wings...
However, by the good help from Mrs. Pat Hitch, I saw some doctors and I bought much medicine with me...
Can you imagine? On the second airplane from Chicago to Tokyo, I created my first two drafts for my Chinese Baimiao and Gongbi.
Today, with the help of much eyes drop medicine, I completed my first Chinese Baimiao since Dec, 2009.
Even though I did want to continue to work and complete it as a Chinese Gongbi, the pain and uncomfortable in my eyes told me that if I wanted to work for a long time and create more paintings, I must have a rest.
So, I will try to color it later.
This is the first time that I created an eagle with Chinese Baimiao Style. I did not like to create the too feral birds before.
But, this time, on the airplane, when I read my big book of birds -- that has led me to be in penalty $100 for my luggage was too weight. First time, I realized that an eagle is not only very brave and feral, it is also very tender sometimes. :-) I felt via a photo in my book already.
Just like the quality of the real hero -- they are not only brave and strong when they meet their enemy or in the bad environment, but also, they are quite soft and tender among their friends and family members...
With this kind of understanding about an eagle, I created it and I would really like to express the two hands of characteristics together...
