Title: Shirley Created Art 503 - Chinese Xieyi -280: Summer - April 10, 2010 |
Artist: Shirley Zhang |
Size: 34.00cm x 70.00cm (13.39inches x 27.56inches) |
Completed Time: April 10, 2010 |
Remarks: This is my 280thChinese Xieyi Painting and my 501st painting since 2003. Also, it is the 29th (48th) painting (practice) that I have created in 2010.
I created this painting in my art lesson with an endless grateful heart. Because, I had a work dinner Wednesday evening, my art lesson was moved Friday evening, then to be moved on Saturday.
My Chinese art teacher -- Professor Tao had another lesson and he rushed to me on 8:00pm Saturday evening.
After he had a comment on my home work and gave my 500th painting 88 scores, 501sr painting 92 scores; after he taught me how to create a landscape to express summer and completed his demonstration; after I started my own creating work, he just had his simple supper that I had ordered from a restaurant by a telephone call for him and his pregnant wife who is waiting for him at home.
Can you imagine? Just ate a half his supper, he came to my work desk for he was worrying whether I had made any wrong job -- since he never allows me to make any draft and a Chinese Xieyi Painting cannot be corrected.
I did not know how to express so much appreciation to both of my teacher and his wife for their teaching and support for so many years... I just wanted to do my best to learn and to create something most beautiful to return my teacher and his family members...
How do you think of this painting? Do you like it?
