Title: Shirley Created Art -- Chinese Xieyi -- 0169: Plum Blossom |
Artist: Shirley Zhang |
Size: 35cm x 53cm |
Completed Time: Thursday, June 20, 2008 |
Remarks: This is my 169th Chinese Xieyi Painting that I painted in my Art Lesson. Also, it is my 333rd painting since 2003, the 27th painting that I have painted in 2008.
After practising peonies for several weeks, my teacher re-started to teach me to pain plum blossoms, for it is one of the China's national flowers. I did enjoy painting it. Especially, I enjoyed using my brushes to paint freely. :-)
Can you imagine? Since I focused on my free time on the English lessons since May 22nd, I have been happy for I can learn something new every day and I have been in a hurry heart for I can not paint always. I looked forward to pass the English Test soon and I could come back my painting learning as soon as possible. For not want my hands rusty, no matter how busy I was, I did not want to miss one my art lesson.
Knowing my thoughts clearly, my teacher asked me to paint two pictures in the lesson, to practise the skills to use Chinese ink and Chinese brushes as much as possible in the limited time.
With a good achievement feeling, my teacher gave the picture 90 marks.
Do you like this kind of pictures? Do you enjoy it?
