Remarks: This is my 164th Chinese Xieyi Painting that I painted in My Art Lesson.Also, it is the 19th painting that I have painted in 2008.
After painting 163 Chinese Xieyi Paintings and 24th Chinese Gongbi Painting, since last November, I re-started to learn Gouache Painting. I mean that I had taught myself to paint 101 Gouaches before last Nov. So, in the past 4 months, I have been learning to paint Gouache from my teacher. Anyway, the book shopping last week, made me want to paint some Chinese painting again.
So, I decided to paint Gouaches independently outside class, to listen to my teacher's comments about my work and to continue to learn Chinese paintings in my art lesson.
Anyway, I made the painting size in my art lesson is smaller than I did, so that my teacher has more time to show me more details and skills. Also, I hope my teacher to help me to think of whether it is convenient to be mounted - to be attached on something and be hung up or be collected.
My teacher was very glad for my suggestions and he hoped me to think of creating and the marketing needing much more. After all, I have learned to paint Chinese painting for 5 years and my teacher thought that my Chinese painting ability has reached on the level of the 4th year's students in the art colleges. So, I should not only learn in the art lesson, I should make my painting enter the market and to be tested by the market.
I agree with my teacher and from now, I will paint not only for learning and making progress every day, but also I have to think of creating my own painting style and to explore my own art running model.
