As soon as I finished my latest combined painting --A Song of Autumn last Sunday, I realized that I had made a bad job for the things on the painting were too messed. :-) Then, my teacher gave me a lowest mark since I started my own created painting ? 55 marks :-)
Then why? I am thinking, except that reason that I did not organize the things on the picture well with water -- I had wanted to use water to connect all of the things on the painting and to express the water country's landscape with a poetic meaning... The other reason was for I was in a hurry and a little bit confused heart. I mean that my usual work last weekend was confused by a suddenly telephone that one of my vocal music teachers was still in Beihai on Sunday. That meant, except re-cording my own music, I had also to accompany for my singing and I had not prepared for it at all. My hurried and confused emotion was expresses directly on my painting... :-)
I do feel shy for my culture has not reached on a higher level yet. I do feel that how high a person's culture is directly affecting the person's art culture and taste... :-)
So, this week, I have adjusted my heart and I have created a new painting with a peaceful heart... :-) Also, I am trying to paint water with a new way according to my own understanding... :-)
On this painting, I would like to create an evening scene in the spring. I also wanted to express the meaning in a famous Chinese classical poem -- Ducks Know the Spring Has Come at the First... :-)
How do you think of my new painting? Do you think that I have made a little big progress?
