Title: Shirley Created Art -- Chinese Xieyi 0150: Courful Spring |
Artist: Shirley Zhang |
Size: 67 x 67cm |
Completed Time: Thursday, August 16, 2007 |
Remarks: This is my 150th Chinese Xieyi Painting-- Freehand brushworks that I created in my art lesson Thursday night.
I am smiling for the picture has been changed because of my trying working on it.
After I had finishing my painting on it, my teacher said that I had done a good job except the leaves were too light and I got 85 marks. I wonder whether I could add some leaves with dark colors. My teacher answered "No". Why not? I still wanted to try. So, as soon as my teacher went, I tried to add some leaves with dark color. Then, at almost the same time, I found that I have destroyed the picture already. :-)
Now, I have really believed that a Chinese Xieyi painting can not be changed as soon as we have completed it. :-)
Now, I am not sure how many marks my teacher will give this picture. :-)
