Title: Chinese Xieyi--095(Flower & Bird): The Charming of the Waterlily Pool |
Artist: Shirley Zhang |
Size: 56cm x 100cm |
Completed Time: Wednesday, September 6, 2006 |
Remarks: This is my 95th Chinese Xieyi picture that I created in my art lesson Wednesday evening.
My teacher gave me 85 marks and thought this is a wonderful picture except the flower is too red and bright so that it makes whole of the elegant atmosphere of the picture was a little bit destroyed. So, I should think of whole picture's color and atmosphere, instead of just one flower... If I used a light color on the flower, then the theme part of the bird, flower and the buds would be more harmony. Also, the bird is good, but, I should try to make it more alive... :-)
Two of projects in the company have entered the final and harder phase, everyday I worked ahead from 7:30am in my office. But, I gave up the free lunch in the company's restaurant and came back home to paint for a while in the noon. I enjoy the feeling to practise on my birds while to think of something in my projects. So, until Thursday, I did not create my music, but I had been painting. Do you know how many birds I have painted this week? Over 60, here are a part of them and hope to bring a big smile for you… : - )
How do you think of this picture? Do you enjoy it?
