Remarks:
Peony is one of my favorite flowers. So, I have painted many peonies in my pictures. Anyway, I do not think that I can master the way to pain it with Chinese freehand brushworks well, so, this week, in my art lesson, I tried to paint it one more and also, my teacher taught me a new ways to paint its leaves. :-)
It is said that there are many people in China are asking the government to make a flower as our national flower. Peony and plum blossom are the flowers that have got highest of the support rate.:-)
In China, plum blossom are best enjoyed by the scholars, poets and the people who think them are genteel and think of that peony is the flowers are meretricious. Anyway, in my opinion, anyone or anything no matter where it is from, as soon as it can bring the other and the world something beautiful, then, it/he/she should be respected. So, except plum blossom, I enjoy all of the other flowers, include peonies.
