Remarks:
When you see my 54th Chinese Freehand Brushworks -- another chrysanthemum and bird, maybe you will ask why Shirley recently always worked on chrysanthemum? One reason that my teacher asked me to practice flowers one by one, now it is the turn of chrysanthemum. The other side, autumn is the time for Chinese to enjoy chrysanthemums, there are many chrysanthemum exhibitions here or there in China, because chrysanthemum is one of the favorite flowers of Chinese, it is called the gentleman in the flowers in Chinese culture. Chinese love to admire its quality that blooms in the cool season, in the time that most of the flowers have dead. Just like a gentleman who keeps his fair and honest quality and does never blow his head under the pressure and difficulties. Chrysanthemums can be showed, be eaten as a dish, be drunk as a tea and be a medicine as a traditional medicine in Chinese cultures. Chinese people started to plan it 3000 years ago. |
