Mrs. Camille F. D. Daitrich - A reporter from a local newspaper office Springfield News-Leader came to the reception of my art exhibition.
She was interested in what I did and she asked many questions. On this painting, I was explaining a Chinese classical poem for her and we had a very good talking.
She told me that she would like to write a story, it will be published in the Springfield News-Leader a week from Thursday.
I do thank her indeed.
I would always remember the friendship of local Americans to Chinese people and their far-sight.
When I write here, I cannot think of Dr. Bill R. Booth whom I knew in 2009, since I knew him first time in Kentucky, he has been helping me so that I asked him. At that time when you just knew me, I was just a business student who worked on art at my free time. Why you wanted to help me? He responded, because I had seen your good potential, therefore I wanted to help you.
Now at OTC in Springfield, I had the same feeling. Just because I have met so many people in the far sight, then I had an opportunity to display my work result in Beijing for 3 years base on the former work for 10 years.
With so much gratitude for receiving help and encouragement by so many good people whom I had not known each other before they entered the exhibition, I would like to do my best to service for the local kind American people and students.
Among those kind American friends, my heart was getting warm in the cold winter...
