Artist: Shirley Yiping Zhang |
Size: 59cm x 138cm( 23.22inches x 54.33inches) |
Completed Time: March 8, 2018 |
Remarks: This is my my 1331st painting since 2003,the 775thChinese Xieyi Painting, my 614th Assignment (the 202nd Painting as an candidate of Degree of Master of Fine Arts ) in Chinese National Academy of Arts.
As soon as finishing the pervious painting, I created this painting. I wished to express the heart of a poet who had lost the connection with his family for a winter and a spring, on the road going back home, the more his nearer his hometown, the more he scarier to ask people about his family's situation...
Since it is an assignment instead of working for my vocal, bilingual poetry and language series, I didn't write all of the lines on the painting, didn't write my English translation on it and didn't paint it with the similar size of the series...
Anyway, after finishing it, I have felt something on the painting should be improved and corrected. I really feel that "Learning is an endless process."
How do you think of this painting? Do you enjoy it?
