Remarks: This is my 711Chinese Xieyi Painting and my 1217th painting since 2003and My 515th assignment and 107th painting in the study of the second phase as a candidate for Master of Fine Arts of Chinese National Academy of Arts. According to the original plan, I should stay in China for 1 year in 2017 to prepare a dissertation for getting my MFA from Chinese National Academy of Arts in July, 2018. However, because my ankle was hurt twice in the USA in Nov, 2016 and I could not go back to Beijing to attend the Thesis Proposal Conference, so that I would have to graduate later for one year. Then, I am lucky enough for my supervisor -- Professor Mu Jiashan would like to offer me a new course on a special mountain and water painting which was created by himself, in another school in Beijing.
Thinking of the extra postponable cost, I would like to rent out of my apartment which has been often empty since 2008. However, when someone truly gave me an offer, I was hesitate and did not want to do it. After all, it is my last route of retreat when I am seeking an art dream which has not been true yet. So, after talking with my friends and thinking for a while, I declined the offer and took back it from some Real Estate Agents.
Then, can you imagine? As soon as I decided to keep my lovely apartment, I felt so comfortable and wanted to paint . So, although I could not sit on a chair for the sharp ache, I stood to work. Every time, when I could not stand, I lied down to read. Then, when I finished this little painting, also I finished reading a part of art history...
How do you think of this painting? Do you enjoy it?
