Artist: Shirley Zhang |
Size: 40.50 cm x 150.00 cm ( 15.95 inches x 59.05 inches) |
Completed Time: August 15-17, 2011 |
Remarks: This is my 336th Chinese Xieyi Painting and my 625th painting since 2003, the 12nd painting after I left from China Central Academy of Fine Arts since July 12, 2011.
In Chinese culture, cranes symbolize good luck, longevity, elegance and faithfulness, peach often relates to the birthday and long life, so, sometimes, we paint both of them together to wish someone in the health and long life. With this idea, I completed this new painting.
How do you think of it? Do you enjoy them?
