Remarks:
This is my 60th Chinese Xieyi-- Freehand Brushworks. In my art lesson, my teacher wanted me to paint peonies only, but, I did not think that I had mastered the way to paint a bamboo well. So, I asked my teacher continue to teach me to paint bamboos. So, I learned a new way to paint bamboo -- to make my round brusher to be flat, then to touch ink on both of sides, to paint on the paper directly, to create a special art result. :-) Anyway, I do know that my painting is still not good, so, every night, I try to paint something on my sketch books with a pen, I ask myself to paint every day, no matter a big picture or a little one, just for keep learning. As far as painting with a pen, because I do not want myself to correct any line ? to learn the ability to paint something exact, quickly and directly. Anyway, my teacher thought that my stone and birds have made a big progress. Do you think so? :-) |
