Remarks: This is my 175th Chinese Xieyi Painting that I painted in my traveling in Sydney. Also, it is my 339th painting since 2003, the 34th painting that I have painted in 2008.
I started this picture on my airplane from Hong Kong to Sydney. At that time, I just painted it with my pen as a practice of sketch and I did not have a plan to color it. This morning, when I was waiting for my son in my hotel, I suddenly had an idea to color it. So, I did. However, because it had been painted on the paper of sketch, the Chinese color could not be absorbed as it should be on a piece of Chinese Xieyi painting paper. Anyway, I was happy for I have been keeping my painting since I started my traveling. I am thinking that would be a good starting for me to keep my painting no matter I am now and in the future. :-)
I have no painting tools enough because I am in a traveling. But, maybe because my son his mother totally, so, on the first day I reached Sydney, he bought some food and fruit in some little boxes, along with we ate the food, we have had many wonderful "color boxes" to mix my colors. :-)
How do you think of this picture? Do you like it?
