This is my 44th Combined Paintingthat I created for Chinese Classical Poetry, andmy 536 painting since 2003.Also, it is the 65th(90th) painting (practice) that I have done in 2010.
I did not satisfy any paintings that I had created for this Chinese classical poem by Du Mu. So, since 2007, I have learned to create 5 paintings to match it already. This week, I tried to combine the meanings in the last two paintings by birds, flowers, village and the moon together, to express the meaning that missing a friend in the far away in Jiangnan (the Sounth of the Yangtze River of China) in a moon night of an fall/autumn.
Even though I do not satisfy it yet, I feel it seems like better than the other paintings. Plus the music that I created in 2006, the song I sang, the translation and the comments that I have corrected many times, I do hope that my effort will be some help with you to understand the meaning of this poem, to learn Chinese culture and language.
You are welcome to clink the links over, to enter the language column and to read or listen to the comments that I have writtten / recorded for you; to clink any Chinese Character below to open the New Character Board and to see the Chinese pinyin, meaning, pronunciation and follow me to read them.
