Remarks: Shane Xiao Qiu - My American Son who is a master students of Missouri State University and he has been studying here for 6 years already.
I knew him in 2010. When I came back the school to have an art exhibition while to wait for the schedule of City of Pikeville (I should have an art exhibition there at the ceremony of the city and a Chinese city became sister cities). Via the good help of Mr. Zhou Yiran who was also a master student of Missouri State University, I lived into the house of Xiao.
During the time I lived there, every day, Xiao sent me to the school in the morning and picked up me back home in the evening. Something more touched me was in the morning, before I got up, he had boiled some eggs and even he had removed a half of the shell of the eggs for me.
To be honest, at the time I looked at the egg, I thought I have had an American Son. :-)
With a big smile, I made a joke to call him Son and I had a good talking with his mother via a cell phone.
Since then, we have been keeping connecting no matter we were in America or in China.
This July, when my books were sent to Beijing from Jinan University Publishing Press from Guangzhou, Xiao went back Zhejiang to see his parents, I sent some of them to him and he carried them for me to the USA.
In case I was lucky to have him to help me. Otherwise, I would not have albums of my paintings enough because the pack of the albums of my paintings that was sent out from Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, China had not some to the USA Sep 14, 2013 yet.
