Artist: Shirley Zhang
Size: 27.00cm x 27.00 cm ( 13.38inches x 13.38 inches) Chinese Ink, Colour,Tea on the Silk
Completed Time: Dec 21, 2014
Remarks:
This is my 44th Chinese Mogu Painting and my 947th painting since 2003.

Also, it is my 351st assignment in Chinese National Academy of Arts.

This painting is not a totally Chinese Mogu Painting. Because, except the morning glories, I used the method of Chinese Mogu painting to paint, the other parts, just I used the Chinese Baimiao + color.

Since Baimiao is one of the step of a Chinese Gongbi painting and I used both of the methods of a Chinese Xieyi and Mugo paintings to color it. So, I felt I should put it in the mixed Gongbi and Xieyi painting.

Anyway, Dec 22, 2014, in the class of us in Chinese National Academy of Arts, Mr. Wu Tong who is the Associate Head of Teaching Department of Chinese Painting School at CNAA commented this painting and thought it was good and he encouraged me to try this way, to create my own style.

Follow his directions, I am thinking to create a group of new paintings with this style and changed a lot of my paintings from the nature to be my new creations.

How do you think of this painting, do you enjoy it?
