Completed Time: April 10, 2014 |
Remarks: This is my 462Chinese Xieyi Painting and my 874th painting since 2003, the 270th assignment of Chinese National Academy of Arts.
Originally, I painted this painting for I would like to hand in the college to exchange the expenses of attending the lessons of painting from the nature -- because of the good job of the school, each year we go to some provinces to have the lesson of painting from the nature 3 times. Students need not pay one coin, but just hand in to 2 paintings. Anyway, we know, mainly because the the sponsors want the paintings of Professor Man Weiqi -- Executive Associate Dean of Chinese Painting College of Chinese National Academy of Arts and our tutors. In the other words, Professor Man and his assistants are making the food tickets for us with their paintings that were/will be painted in the bases we went/will go to.
Instead of going to Jiang Xi, the place of the lesson of painting from nature will be Taihang Mountains in Henan Province, April 22 to April 27. I was so glad for the change and I have registered to go there and handed in two paintings Monday morning. Then the continuously stomach-ache stopped me and Mr. Ren Ming - the tutors who takes charge of the travel suggested me to stay in Beijing because he did not think the hard living conditions in the Taihang Mountain is suitable me when I am still sick. Then he let me think for 2 hours.
I told myself, if the stomach-ache went away within the 2 hours, I would go to Taihang Mountain, because except the class, I do hope to have an opportunity to have a talk with a vice president of Chinese National Academy of Arts about my project and hope to get the support of the school since she would be in the team. Anyway, the ache did not go after the 2 hours passed.
Then I accepted the suggestions of Mr. Ren Ming and keep painting out of the door in Beijing.
Anyway, after I completed this painting, I did not want to hand in it, so, I have handed in another 2 paintings to the school that I just painted in Beijing.
How do you think of this painting? Do you enjoy it?
