Remarks: This is my 789th painting since 2003and the 430th Chinese Xieyi Painting, the 184th assignment that I have completed in Chinese National Academy of Arts .
This is the 8th painting that I painted for the series stories and my long scroll《二十四孝》: Er Shi Si Xiao Tu -- The Twenty-Four Dutiful Children .
This story names 王裒闻雷泣墓: Wang Pou Wen Lei Qi Mu -- Wang Pou Cried by His Mother's Grave in the Thunder Storm.
Wang Pou lived in Yingling (today's Changle, Shandong Province) in the Kingdom of Wei(220-265), he was vast and versatile erudition and treated his parents quite considerate and filial.
When his mother was alive, she was scared of thunder very much. n by the grave of his mother and cried, Pou here and mother did not be afraid of After she was dead, was buried in the forest. Every time, as soon as the thunder-storm came, Wang Pou run to her grave. Always he fell down the thunder.
After his father was killed by the emperor of the Jin Dynasty (265-420)- Sima Chao, he never went anywhere but taught professionally, and he did never sit facing west for whole of his life, to express his idea that he would never work for Jan Dynasty.
With so much move and respect, I painted this painting.
How do you think of it? Do you enjoy it?
I really hope that my effort will be some help with you to learn Chinese culture and art.
