Remarks: This is my 418th Chinese Xieyi Painting and my 764th painting since 2003, the 163rd assignment in Chinese National Academy of Arts.
This is the second time I painted this painting. Last time I painted it in March, 2012.
Since then, I have painted 93 new paintings, especially, I have painted some landscapes. So, today, when I painted it, I did have so new feelings.
First of all, I found that I painted much slower than last time, because I did feel there were so many details that I should express out.
Secondly, I felt that the practice of landscape have really given me so much help. When I painted the bird, I could use the dry ink and brush to deal with it.
The delight feelings on painting really brought me so much happiness, even though I was working alone in the cold classroom that was only about 10 C degrees, I had to work in the heavy fur coat, my heart was smiling... :-)
How do you think of the two paintings? Do you think that I have made some progress?
