This is my 68th Combined Paintingthat I have created / painted for Chinese Classical Poetry, and my 687th painting since 2003 ; also, it is my 59th assignment in Chinese National Academy of Arts.
I painted this painting second time on Apri 4, to match the classical Chinese Painting below, and the music that I created in 2011. But, until today, April 25, I just put it on the web site.
Why?
I have been suffering the ache because of my sickness since I came back Beijing in Feb, so that I had to go back Shenzhen to see my doctors since April 5 when my classmates went to Taihang Mountain to have the lesson of painting from the nature.
But, after I came back from Shenzhen April 15, I felt the situation was getting worse. I could not work as usual for I could not sit or stand up for a long time, therefore, I wrote the comments on the poem for whole of one week. Sometimes, I had to write by squatting on the chair or on the floor.
Anyway, by the good encouragement of this poem and a firm decision, I did not give up for one day, now, I have finally recorded the music (as a practice and not a formal record yet), the writing and language recording -- instead of recording for one night as I did before, this time, I did on it 4 times.
Also, I tried to introduce something about Ti Hua Shi ? poem on the Chinese painting.
I am really sorry for my too later work indeed. Anyway, I will keep doing the work as long as I can, because, I do think it is something meaningful.
I do hope that my effort will be some help with you to learn Chinese cultures.
The Main Meaning of the Poem
Cling to the green mountain, never give up,
The bamboos take their roots in the cracks of the rocks
Though they go suffer, they are still strong,
Hold unyielding, no matter where the winds blow from.
