This is my 63rd Combined Paintingthat I have created / painted for Chinese Classical Poetry, and my 667th painting since 2003 ; also, it is my 40th assignment in Chinese National Academy of Arts.
This is the 7th time I painted a new painting to match the poem Jiangpan Du Bu Xun Hua - Find Flowers by the River Alone by Du Fu (712 - 770) in Tang Dynasty ( 618 - 907).
I in fact did the 6th one last week, but, I did not satisfy it, so, I did the 7th one by the good direction from my tutor Mr. Wenqing Lu, then, I did not felt good yet, but, I did not know how to improve it again.
So, I invited Dr./Prof. Ruoxi Lin to comment it in our class, and he pointed many places that can be improved. Also, my another tutor and the Associate dean of the teaching department of the Chinese Painting school Mr. Tong Wu gave me many good directions.
Anyway, since last Sunday, I have been suffering a serious cold, when I felt better, I was in the emotion to create another painting for another poem and now I have completed it, I will let you see it next weekend... :-)
So, now, I just show it to you temporarily, latter, I will re-create the 8th one according to the good directions of my tutors and professors.
Below is the translation of the poem and it has been checked and corrected by Mr. Mike J from Britain, William G., Dennis H. from USA and Mrs. Xiaogang Z. from China.
