Remarks:
These are my 213rd and 214thChinese Xieyi Painting and it is two of my 384th pictures since 2003, the 13rd and 14th picture that I have created in 2009 and the 15th and 16th painting in the US.
My Chinese art teacher chose 20 pictures for me in my 384 pictures for some friends are planning to make an art exhibition for me in the US. I would like to leave some copies for my painting while to create a group of paintings for the professors who have taught me.
I created this picture in my art lesson in 2006 first time. That day, I reached Shenzhen at about 1:30am from a traveling in Yuan or Zhang Jiaojie. I have forgotten the detail time. :-) Then I had my art lesson at 7:00pm. My teacher thought that the traveling had given me some new feelings about painting, so, I was given 90 marks. :-)
I completed the first picture at about 11:44pm Saturday night, I did not satisfy the bamboo, and so, I completed the second one until maybe about 2:00am. A suddenly telephone ring trembled my hand, so that I impressed my name seal with a wrong direction, so, I had to impress another name seals over there... :-)
I would really like to thank my landlord Ms. Frances Lyle indeed, for she has offered me a good condition for my painting ? with her 5 tables and many white dishes of china... I could combine a bigger table to work in the US -- Chinese painting color was like water, people can not paint it on an easel as painting oils or grouches... :-)
Also Chinese color should be painted on a dry painting... When I was waiting for my painting to dry, I suddenly thought that to keep the second painting without snow maybe another art result? So, I took a picture for it before it was dry... and I painted the snow Sunday morning.
You can see the Chinese color has a very big difference after it is dry... :-)
