Title: Shirley Created Art -- Chinese Xieyi 0160: Autumn Scenery |
Artist: Shirley Zhang |
Size: 67 x 67cm |
Completed Time: Thur, Nov 02, 2007 |
Remarks: This is my 160th Chinese Xieyi Painting that I painted in My Art Lesson Thursday night.
Time is flying; the 160 Chinese Xieyi paintings mean that I have had 160 Chinese Xieyi painting lessons already. That is about 3 years already. I am smiling when I am writing this note here tonight for I have thought of how I painted my first Chinese Xieyi painting 3 years ago. My hand was trembling and my line was bending and the bird was funny.
The key was that at that time. I was not interested in it at all. But now, I do think it is the most suitable painting for me to paint since I have no much free time on it. : -)
This week, my teacher continued to teach me to paint chrysanthemums, but asked me learn some new structure of this picture and to paint them with different way. On the left part, to make many details; on the right part, to paint the flowers quickly and did not pay more attention to the details.
I did it and I got 90 marks.
How do you think of it? Do you like this picture?
