Title: Chinese Xieyi--073(Flower & Bird): The Delicious Cherry From The Hard Work... |
Artist: Shirley Zhang |
Size: 70 cm x 70 cm |
Completed Time: Wed. April 23, 2006 |
Remarks: This is my 73rd Chinese Xieyi(Freehand brushworks) that I painted in my art lesson. Also it is the first time I painted a cherry tree. :-)
During I was painting it, I thought of a Chinese Folk song -- cherry is good to eat, but the tree is difficult to plant. Happiness can not drop to us from the sky and every good thing can not come to us with the way of just waiting for... :-) Yes, it is same to paint and anything else. Anything wonderful is from a hard work. After painting over 70 Chinese Xieyi pictures and hundreds birds with different styles, I just learn a little thing about painting a bird with a brush directly. Firs time, my teacher satisfied with my birds. :-)
Do you enjoy this picture? What is your thought about it?
