Remarks:
This is my 69th Chinese Freehand Brushworks-- Xieyi picture. I created it in my art lesson on Wed evening. This is a traditional Chinese painting theme -- The Three Friends (Pine, bamboo and plum blossom) In The End Of A Year to admire how they are brave and to keep green or blossom in the cold winter ... this is a kind of typical traditional Chinese scholar paintings, to express their character of pursue independence, strong, keeping ideas even though the environment is cold or bad...
My art teacher thought that except the leaves of the bamboos, this is a good picture. And he pointed that was because the brush was too wet so that the colors were excessive...
Anyway, I myself thought that my color of the biggest bamboo is too deep so that the colors of bamboos are not very harmonious. Also, the color of my plum blossoms seem like too dry, and I should make it have more life power via giving my color more water... :-)
